OCA 9th Annual Charity Golf Tournament
OCA Greater Phoenix Chapter is excited to announce its 9th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, taking place at the prestigious Arizona Biltmore, located at 2400 Biltmore Estates Drive in Phoenix, on October 26th. This year, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
Participants will enjoy a fun-filled scramble tournament, complete with on-course games, a delicious luncheon, and an enticing silent auction items. Golfers can register for $200 per person or $700 for a foursome. Non-golfers are also encouraged to join in the festivities by attending the luncheon and silent auction.
The event will feature exciting raffle prizes and silent auction items, including a football autographed by the AZ Cardinals, a 47" TV, alongside auction items such as airline tickets, a luxurious Hermès scarf, and more! It promises to be an engaging day for everyone involved.
Registration starts at 7:00 am with a 7:30 am shotgun time. The cost for a single player is $200 and $700 for a foursome. Arizona Biltmore is located at 2400 Biltmore Estates Dr, Phoenix, AZ 85016.

Empowering Women
The International Women’s Charity, in partnership with OCA Greater Phoenix, is delighted to introduce the Empowering Women Seminar. This half-day, in-person event showcases workshops, panels, and various activities led by accomplished AANHPI women professionals, with the intention to uplift, engage, and empower women from diverse backgrounds. The seminar is designed to help attendees discover their strengths and inspire positive change through the narratives and experiences of remarkable leaders who have excelled in both their personal and professional endeavors. The interactive college leadership training program involves hands-on exercises, small group discussions, and presentations led by two qualified APIA facilitators. The one day training assembles students from each region and focuses on self-awareness, team-building, and direct action organizing. Participants will be asked to challenge themselves, share their experiences, and develop leadership tools in order to effectively serve as catalysts for change.

Youth Program
APA-Y Advocate is a half-day interactive training for Asian Pacific American high school youth funded by State Farm that teaches leadership driven community engagement, career planning, and responsible personal financial management before going to college.
Students will be provided an opportunity to network amongst their peers and develop friendships. Students will learn the history of Asian Pacific Americans. Students will participate in a highly interactive program that will lead to leadership-driven community engagement. Students will engage in robust leadership discussions about the implications of individual behavior on the community.
