Make New Connections and Enjoy Golfing under The Autumn Sun
Golf Registration starts at 6:30 am. The shotgun starts at 7:30 am. All profit will fund the OCA Greater Phoenix operation, building Arizona K-12 Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders(AANHPI) curriculum, and conducting voter registration and GOTV drives. Meet golfers from UPS, Statefarm, Oei-Design, etc..
Cheer the Golfer Luncheon
Luncheon Registration starts at 11:00 am. Interested in supporting OCA Greater Phoenix Chapter but not a golfer? Join us at the luncheon where we will cheer on the golfers, enjoy delicious food, and network with others within our community! We will be hosting a silent auction during our luncheon.
Hawaiian Music and Hula Dance
We will be joined by Kaimikahu Hale O Hula with Desert Strummers during our Cheer the Golfer Luncheon, where they will be performing hula and Tahitian dance with live music. Kumu Kaimi Matthews Valdez, trained in both Hawaiian and Tahitian culture, was born in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi and started dancing at the young age of 3 under the direction of Kumu Hula Master and Composer John Piʻilani Watkins. Kaimi has been in Arizona since 1996 and spreads her love for hula by teaching lessons and performing at annual events such as the Arizona Aloha Festival.
